Review summary

We had a great time on our 6 Night Western Caribbean cruise. The many activities on ship were great. Our stewarts and the wait staff were excellent. I would definitely go on another cruise with Carnival, in fact we are looking for an even longer cruise for next time.

@pegr007 I hope this helps and that linemen you make your own fun while on the ship. Maybe these issues will be resolved when you cruise. My family and I have decided to continue to cruise because we just love it overall but definitely go on the newer ships!

We took a taxi/van to Mullet Bay beach and on the way back we alder our driver to stop at Maho beach which is where the airport is. We were lucky enough to arrive when they're was a plane landing and saw 2 planes leave. The experience was so much fun...

We didn't do an excursion in San Juan just walked and did our won tour lol. St. Kitts we did the island tour and felt that was waste of time and money. Should've gone straight to the beach. Grand Turk was fun, people seem to just stay in Margaritaville enjoying the pool/beach and their cocktails. Now St. Maarten was amazing!!!!

Now with all that being said my family and I made our own fun. We enjoyed our time together and the ports were great!

Bags no hot water to make the tea. I felt they didn't give it there all. I was disappointed, I never complaint but felt it was too many little things. Maybe 4 out of the 8 days the food in the main dinning room was good. The buffet needs more variety. The oven for the pizza was not calibrated right so you always got it burnt

Pegr007 I'm not going to lie. The room was always clean but the overall look and feel of the ship was tired and old. I don't know if you'll have a different staff when you go but although they were nice they were very low energy and always looked tired and miserable. I ordered room service and the BLT was missing the tomatoes and bacon/bread were burnt. Green tea was ordered and only received tea

My family and I are going on that one as well! I love in Florida, so we're kind of use to it. It looks like we'll be already at sea by the time the storm hits Florida. Hopefully it won't affect us that much. Remember it's an 8 day cruise

We really enjoyed the 9 day to Bermuda in May. Highly recommend it! It was a Carnival Journeys cruise. We also enjoyed the lecturer on board, Tom Parks. We booked the 8 day Southern Caribbean for November as we now know we enjoy the longer cruises more!
