Review summary

Our favorite part of this cruise was two days at Bermuda and the entertainment. The island of the Bermuda was very interesting and very clean area.

The bad part of this cruise was our room steward. The food was excellent!!! Especially lobster dinners twice.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin steward was not very friendly and he kept forgetting to bring our ice every afternoon. Our friends told us about their towel art everyday and we did not get at all. The bathroom was not clean.

Ship tip

BRING YOUR EAR PLUG. Noise from the lobby (3rd floor) very loud on the 6 deck.

Guys, just to let you know - The Splendor (Show Rooms) were very cold. We went on a 9 nights cruise to Bermuda, Grand Turk & Dominican Republic June 26, 2016 and my wife had to carry around a blanket. We spoke with several people and they said this was the coldest ship their ever been on. Other than that, it's a beautiful ship.

Sorry your experience was bad I was on the same 9 day cruise you were on we didn't have any problems we were on the 10th floor.

I've been on cruises and noticed some surly workers, but only a few. Most of them are so overworked and when they're having a bad day it's a really bad day.

The cabin Stewart was the worst. ...when we booked the cruise, we let them know I take a shot every day.I need my meds refrigerated. ....when we got on and the refrigerator was not cold..I asked him if he could find out if they could fix it or get another one....I take a cold pack with me so it was find until dinner....We also asked for ice....That night after dinner came back to the room to take my shot and to see if they had fixed the problem. ...nothing ....saw the Stewart asked him about it..said it's broke and nothing they can do about it.....so went to guest services and asked them what I should do and they had no record of it being requested. ....so he never asked...they rented me a small plug in cooler for $50.00 for the 9 days...ok then no ice at all...yes we are Platinum no pins no gifts...asked him he said they didn't have any ....in 17 cruises he was the worst one ever....We loved the entertainment and the shows and loved the port's. ..the food was very good ....Did the steak house and the Chef's Table it was our 25th wedding anniversary. ..we had Consula Ivey and it was amazing. ..She called us up on stage along with two other couples and sang for us to dance to....ok staff on the Lido deck was not very nice or friendly....they all acted like they wanted to go home and not be bothered. ..I know this is very long but this ship needs help...In 2017 this ship is going to China and I think the staff had just found out about it alot of them where complaining. .. This being said we have two more booked on other ships and I am looking forward to them....

We loved the entertainment. ...and liked the food but I will never go back on the Splendor. ....They need to get rid of the rude staff....
