Review summary
Everything was great on the Carnival Splendor cruise to Cozumel, Belize, and Grand Cayman, and we had a wonderful time. We loved the snorkeling Excursion in Belize that we booked through Carnival called "Sargeant's Cay Snorkeling Adventure", and would do this again! Next time, we'll book more snorkeling trips (and, maybe even Snuba). The crew and staff were so friendly and helpful, including the room stewards, dining room staff, and everyone else! The food was excellent, and they even provided sugar-free desserts and many options for vegetarians. The Indian vegetarian food was outstanding, with a great variety that changed every day, both at the Tandoor outdoor location for lunch and in the dining room. I soon began to look forward to seeing/tasting whatever they offered, and the variety seemed endless. The brolled salmon on the first night was wonderful, but not so good after that, but there were so many other options that I still was happy. Our waiters were great, and provided a very high level of service. We took the "Faster to the Fun" option, and this enabled us to have priority in boarding the ship and tenders as "V.I.P.'s". We've been on other cruise lines", and this one compared very favorably with all of them, including those on the "high end" cruise ships.
