Relaxing vacation!

Sail Date: August 07, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

The ship was very smooth. I have taken this cruise twice before (on the Jubilee and the Carnival Pride) and I recall the return to Long Beach being a rocky ride. This ship never felt unstable. Also, the ship was very large and roomy so that it didn't feel too crowded.

Pros: The cabin suite.

Cons: Buffet closed during the afternoons.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food in the Gold Pearl restaurant (as well as the service) was outstanding.
Cabin / Stateroom
Really liked the stateroom size and location. Suite was large enough for 3 of us to be comfortable the whole trip.
