This cruise was for our honeymoon. We had a great time, but by the 6th day-- we were ready to get off the ship as we ran out of things to do on the "At Sea" days. As for the ports: Cabo San Lucas was great! We enjoyed swimming with the dolphins (highly recommend!). We also enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Cabo Wabo. Our second stop at Puerto Vallarta wasn't as exciting. It was a bit "dirty" and the water at the beach is truly unswimmable.

Food and Dining

The food was pretty excellent. The steak was tasty- good flavor. They always had vegetarian options also. Our waitress- Iryna- was excellent! Their desserts were amazing-- especially the Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. YUM!

Entertainment

The broadway style shows were fun and exciting. It gave us something to do at night.

Service and Staff

Everyone was very friendly.

Ship Quality

It took us a little time to get used to the ships layout-- even getting "lost" a few times (even with a map-- some hallways are blocked!). But the staff was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction. The decor is fun and the ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony on the back of the ship. It was a bit rough back there! The balcony was a little dirty upon arrival into our room-- so I had to wipe it down with Lysol Wipes. Overall, the room was in good shape. TV was fairly small.

Dirty. People EVERYWHERE trying to sell you crap---the same crap repeatedly!!!!

Pros: Good food, friendly service all around

Cons: Sea sick-- mostly in room-- very back of ship.

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.
