Sail Date: July 10, 2011
Ship: Carnival Splendor
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple

The ship was very clean but it seemed like we spent a lot of time waiting because there were 3600 passengers on the ship.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was really good but not excellent. We feel that the food we had on Princess was better.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedy club was good. The variety show was a bit cheesy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Most of the staff was friendly. Most met or exceeded my expectations.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It took a few days to figure out the layout of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room size was not too bad and was clean.
5 out of 5
We booked a snorkel/hiking tour through Orbitz with Eco Tours and it was awesome. Our tour guide, Fernando, was absolutely awesome.
Don't Miss: Colomitas cove
5 out of 5
We liked booking our own tours which saved us a lot of money.
Don't Miss: Pelican beach

Pros: The ports of call.

Cons: The amount of passengers on the ship.
