Fun vacation for the money

If you get a 'good' deal, this vacation is totally worth it. Once we made it through check-in at long beach (which was chaotic and disorganized) the trip went fine. Relaxing and fun. The food in the dining room was okay, but the buffet seemed better than previous trips. Alcohol was, as always, expensive-- so make sure you find other ways to solve this.

Pros: totally relaxing once on the ship

Cons: 3 hour check in in Long Beach,

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!

Food and Dining
Dining times were fine. Buffet seemed better than last cruise, but dining room was average. Some of the specialty items were above average. The service was good.
Ship Quality
Despite the resemblence to a PeptoBismol bottle, the ship was pretty. Extremely clean and an easy layout.
Cabin / Stateroom
Enough room for two people, maybe some kids. Clean and good amenities.
Service and Staff
What more could they have done?
Is drinking an activity?- Excellent
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
The Pirate ship was friggin' awesome.
Don't Miss: Pirate ship (the day cruise)
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Kinda like a mall, but in Mexico. Nice to walk around. Pretty beaches.
