Carnival Splendor

7 Night Mexican Riviera (Los Angeles Roundtrip)

Sail date: March 06, 2011

Ship: Carnival Splendor

Cabin type: Inside

Traveled as: Singles/Friends

Reviewed: 13 years ago

Review summary

The ship was huge, but the way they have it set up, it is always crowded. One passageway on one deck. The food in the buffet was terrible. The service was terrible. Didn't like the salt water in the pools. Very, very expensive. Felt like a walking wallet. Didn't care about me, just me spending money. Never felt that way on a cruise before. Would not reccommend Carnival to anyone. Try one of the others.

Everything you did cost you something. The shows were terrible. Same singers, same dancers, different costumes and moves. Boring.

People begging you to buy crap off the ship. The excursion we took was beautiful. Best part of the trip. Yalepa Bay Sail and Snorkel

Pros: The food at Dinner was passable

Cons: everything else
