Review summary

Ship is pretty nice. We had a spa deck room which gave us free access to the Spa and that was sweet, highly recommend the spa deck. Got a table for 2 at the Dining room, which isn't much fun, but our server was weak and disinterested in our table, only ate at the dining room 3 times because of this. Room service was always running behind, but decent. Pinnacle steakhouse was exceptional. Highly recommend it. Food overall was good for Carnival. Short port in Cabo sucked, Mazatlan is a dump in my opinion. Decent cruise.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Short port so didn't do much. Enjoyed just eating and drinking at the Marina.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Didn't take a cruise excursion. Had a van take us to a smaller port where we took pangas to a very quiet beach that had great food, reasonable beer and peace and quiet.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Its a dump in my opinion. FULL of people selling junk and not leaving you along. Step on the beach and its a constant barrage of selling pitches. Got old real quick and altogether Mazatlan is dirty.
Don't Miss: Shrimp Factory in the Golden Zone. UNBELIEVABLY GOOD peel & eat shrimp!

Pros: Spa Deck and Pinnacle Steakhouse

Cons: Large lines and slightly disinterested employees
