Review summary
We had a great time in spite of the weather. We loved the ship all decked out for the holidays! But the weather is too cold for us to sail in the Bahamas. We would sail the Spirit in warmer weather.Embarkation
Like sailing from Mobile since it is closer to home than Florida. Staff is nice and helpful.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Normal dinners and venues. Lines were not crazy long at deli, etc. sandwiches were good. Bonsai sushi was a great change from MDR and not crazy expensive. MDR staff was great as usual!
Onboard Activities
With cooler temps and rain, we did a lot of trivia and it was fun!
Entertainment
Shows were great! Loved the show that included the kids for Christmas theme.
Service and Staff
Room steward was great! Waiters were fast and attentive!
Ship Quality
Love the older ship design and decor. It was warm and inviting to us. We figured how to navigate early on. The Jungle was so cute! Always quiet too! The ship was decorated so beautiful for Christmas too!
Cabin / Stateroom
Our cabin was great except for the mega air leak on our balcony door. We had some VERY windy days/nights and the sound(whistle) was so loud! We had an accessible cabin and the balcony was big. We had 3 chairs and lounger along with tables.
Ports of call
We got off but the cars and taxis were too fast on the roads for hubby in wheelchair to even cross the roads. We should have just hopped on the free tram…our bad

Disembarkation
We picked tags to keep us on the ship as long as possible..lol. We actually were the last few off. Porter helped us gather bags and hotel shuttle came to get us asap.
