Review summary

First cruise of of Jax Cruise Port. Quick on. Spirit is a good,.small ship. Pretty lines and easy to move around deck. Main dining room failed 2 of 3 times. Port of Nassau is bad. Port of Princess Cays was fantastic. The supreme highlight of the trip.

JAX Cruise Port is small. You park within a very short walk to the terminal building. Quick and efficient embarkation. Everyone was friendly.

Main dining room failed twice. Invisible one night and RAW CHICKEN another night. Nearly puked at the sight of it and the danger it represented. Buffet ok, Guys Burgers great. Drinks excellent.

Comedian didn't have jokes. She just tried to interact with the audience and failed. Couldn't hear the audience members and she didn't repeat anything so all we heard was her comments. BORING. Magician Comedian was hilarious and lots of fun!

Kind of small, but good layout. Fridge wasn't working, had to get under desk to plug it in.

Ship tip

Take an extension cord or power strip. There is one outlet in the room.

The trip from JAX Port to the ocean is a fantastic cruise down the St John's river. You pass directly under the Dames Point Bridge. The whale tail cleared it by only 3 feet!!! Beautiful but tense.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Tender into dock Beautiful beach. Beautiful and majestic Carnival Spirit offshore. Saw an eel and a black and white striped fish in the rocks and some Neons over a seaweed patch. Fun and sun. Carnival had a free buffet too!

Not very clean. Small, crowded. Shops were ok, but the shacks selling stuff were all just cheap trinkets.
