Great ship that needed more tuning up since it hadn't been out in a couple of years. New staff members need to get more experience under their belts.

Service was slow as molasses in the main dining room, and my seaday brunch steak was not the usual filet. Some of the ice machines didn't work. The omelet lines weren't staffed with two or three burners as on other ships, so that service was slow.

First time out in 2 years for this ship and the entertainment crew wasn't fully staffed.

TV remote and A/C unit weren't working, but our steward had repairmen fix them the first day. The water always started out light brown from the faucet though.

Cabin was a bit dusty by the door, but our steward cleaned it up quickly, and also got the tv remote and AC repaired quickly. The ship hadn't been used in two years. This was it's first time back in service.

Thanks for review. We sail this ship in January. I hope everything works by then... carnival switched ships from freedom to spirit. Not getting good vibes from it.
