Carnival Spirit

7 Night Alaska (Seattle Roundtrip)

Sail date: May 31, 2011

Ship: Carnival Spirit

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Family (older children)

Reviewed: 13 years ago

Review summary

Air condiitioning in stateroom too warm and crew would not adjust due to others complaining about being too cool. No individual adjustment. Closed balcony of room from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM on 6th day of Cruise for washing of decks thus not available to use the balcony we paid for. This could have been done when at port instead of while at sea.

Excellent - Eagles upon arrival at port. Hatchery - Disappointment as not enough time allowed and tour not too good. Slamon Bake - Too Rushed and crowded transport with not enough room for all passengers back to ship before departure creating anxiety, spoiling meal.
Don't Miss: Mendenhall Glacier - Excellent, but rushed.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Pros: Skagway Railway and time to shop
