7 Night Southbound Alaska (Whittier To Vancouver)
Sail Date: July 29, 2009
Ship: Carnival Spirit
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 7 years ago
I had cruised on the Spirit when it was only a year old. It is in need of some public room face lifts...fabric stains and wear is showing. Cabins are kept quite nice, clean and stewards are very accommodating.

Don't Miss: White Pass & Yukon Railway and you could also bring along your own fishing pole and do some salmon fishing just a stones throw from where ship is docked

Loved this port. Sitka is a must see in Alaska. Truly a jewel of an island.

Pros: Ports, pace of cruise

Cons: Thought Spirit could use a face lift on the Lido Deck where buffets are served and entertainment (other than their own dancers and singers) was very bad.

Recommends Carnival Spirit? Yes!
