Review summary

The Ship - Carnival Spirit - was very nice. This was my first time on a Carnival Cruise and I thought the Staterooms were roomier than on another cruiseline that I had cruised in the past. We had a balcony stateroom and we had great views from the room. The ship was also decorated with alot of nice art work.

This was probably my least favorite of all the stops. The stores were pricey and our excursion was just OK. We did the capton's choice. We only saw 1 whale, but the waters were also choppy that day.
Don't Miss: The russian nesting dolls.

Skagway, Alaska

We did no shopping here because we did the Ultimate white pass adventure. This was the best excursion that we did. It was 8 hours but worth it. Amazing sites to see! Lots of info on the history of Skagway too.

Juneau, Alaska

We did the tram to Mt Roberts. That was a magnificant view. Mt. Roberts was great and our guide was very helpful too.
Don't Miss: The crab shack for excellent Crab bisque. It's hidden near a parking deck. Don't miss it!

Ketchikan, Alaska

The rainforest tour was great. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife.
Don't Miss: Shopping! This was the best stop for shopping.

Pros: The Staterooms

Cons: The Food
