Review summary

We were traveling as a family of four in two separate rooms. The rooms were quite a bit larger than other cruises we had been on. We opted not to get balconies and were not at all sorry, because the windows were large and we enjoyed going on deck to view the scenery. Our wait staff was so wonderful that our teenage kids ate with us in the dining room all 7 nights! We've never seen them eat so much food - they even liked the brussel sprouts! We can't wait until we can go on another cruise.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

We enjoyed hiking and it was free (to the top of the hill).

Sitka, Alaska

We did the otter and whale cruise, and that was the highlight of the trip.

Skagway, Alaska

We enjoyed the hike and float trip but would have liked to do the train also.

Juneau, Alaska

We went to the top of the mountain via the tram, but it was a foggy day, and we didn't have a view. Only do this on a clear day.

Pros: The staff was so accommodating - they made us feel special.

Cons: We liked everything.
