Review summary
This Carnival Ship has all the trappings for a fun 8 days. The crew was exceptional, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Food is average to above average; but if you don't like the first entre' order a different one. Plenty of activities if you want; or rest if the activities aren't your thing. Don't plan on winning in the casino -- few people do. The stop in Manzanillo was a waste, but Acapulco and Ixtapa were terrific. Carnival should switch Manzanillo with Cabo and you'd have three good ports of call. The Crew was terrrific. Even though Carnival charges $10/day per person, we left our cabin steward and waiter a little extgra because they worked extra hard to please us. I suggest if your help is that good, you also leave a little extra. One warning -- Carnival charges top dollar for pictures and drinks. So if you have a good camera, take your own picks; and if you can avoid drinking booze for the week, you'll save at least $200. All in all, a very enjoyable 8 days.Ship experiences

Pros: It was terrific weather. The ships crew is terrific!
Cons: Manzanillo is a waste of time. Cabo would be a better port to dock.
