Review summary

We were a little concerned after reading some of the reviews prior to the cruise, but we found most of the negatives unfounded. We have previously sailed on the Norwegian Epic twice this year so trying to compare this short trip was not a fair comparison. Boarding was easy and the staff made you feel comfortable. Our room was clean and bright, but since it is an older ship, needs a little updating. The food, overall, was very good and the service & servers deserve a 10 out of 10. We felt there could have been a little more entertainment , but what they had was very good. Reviews have complained of cigarette smoke throughout the ship which we didn't find true although you will find it offensive if you're a non-smoker near the casino area and you'll occasionally smell near the elevator areas for some reason. In summation, we found this ship an excellent value for what you pay for it.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The restaraunt staff went far & beyond and deserves a 10 out of 10 rating. Overall the entire staff was very attentive and did their best to kept the guests happy. Note: the drink waiters around the pool are a little over the top trying to peddle the drinks.

The port is next to the refineries. For a $30 taxi ride you might see something of interest.

Nassau, Bahamas

We did have a good time taking the water taxi to Paradise Island and Cabbage Beach.
