Review summary

1st cruise. 1st solo Vacay. I never felt alone, very safe, made friends on board quickly. Never a dull moment. Loved all the activities and entertainment.

The straws were the biggest problem. The bartenders held the sugar straws, which are probably 10 cents each hostage. I like a straw in my drink. I’m on vacation. Benjamin (Bartender at Rum Frog) on the Radiance told me I should have brought my own straw with me. I couldn’t believe it..

this will be the first ship i take a solo cruise on also! It’s good to hear you never felt alone because im nervous about being able to meet new people.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. Appreciate your detailed review. Surprised about the straw situation (I don’t like them but always end up with them). Usually, the Carnival bartenders are freely handing them out. Sorry this happened. Glad you enjoyed your solo cruise.
