Review summary

This 2 day cruise was a great starter to see if we liked it. It made sure we would not get motion sickness and gave us a taste of what to expect while onboard. It also allowed us to figure out things we would do more or less of.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was provided with plenty of information about the process to get on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
There were plenty of options to choose from during many different times of the day. Almost too many options that makes it hard to choose. Food was good but nothing really to right home about.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Lots of activities on the ship to choose from. Used the Carnival app to choose and remind us of what and when.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The DJs were awesome and interacted well to get the crowd excited. Singers and dancers were great and entertaining.

Children's Programs

Did not travel with kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The main staff for our stateroom and the main dining room remembered our names too

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was very clean and it was easy to get around with plenty of stairs and elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was the perfect size for 2 people and plenty of places to store everything we needed for our trip. It was clean well kept. Balcony was great place to hang out and enjoy the ocean or while we were leaving port after a long day of excursions.

Ship tip

Read up on what there is to do on the boat ahead of time. Make sure to get excursions setup right after you book your cruise to get best times and activities.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Clean and well organized for Embarking the ship staff helpful to get you to the next step.

Ensenada, Mexico

4 out of 5
We did a Top 10 Excursion it was a great way to experience the port if you have never been there before.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was a long process to get off the ship. Make sure to check your folio during your cruise to make sure you don't have to go to Onboard Guest Services desk during disembarkation, it gets really busy with everyone leaving .
