Embarkation

Dover is a small port with an extremely friendly staff. It went really smooth with no waiting

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Buffet: Bland, not a lot of flavor. Breakfast options were extremely limited. Guys burger was good as usual. Blue iguana was just ok. Main dining room: Food was fine, nothing special. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Specialty dining: We did not try either restaurant

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The weather was not conducive to swimming. There are only two hot tubs and they were always full. I did the morning stretch once and it was on the Lido in front of everyone so I did not return. Trivia was good, friendly staff.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent entertainment! Shows were fun. Jonathon Tempanelli was awesome! There was a signer named Kate that was fantastic. DJ Skoot kept the party going. Lots of good singers and small shows My wife and 16 year old son participated in the glee club and dance show. They had a great time at the practices

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I had two teenage son who went to the two youth groups. They had a great time. One leader Shar was really helpful and helped all the kids feel included.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Extremely friendly and helpful! We loved the staff. Best staff of all the 9 cruises we’ve been on.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The artwork is weird with topless women throughout the ship. Including dozens of topless mermaids staring down at you while you eat your food. It was clean and pretty well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Dated looks, small TV. The bathroom had a weird smell.

Ship tip

Get involved! Dance, hang out with Frankie the cruise director.

Beautiful city and people. Easy to walk around after a short tram ride. Best breakfast pastry I’ve ever had!!

Goteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden

We docked in an industrial area. It was a $30 cab ride to the city. The Volvo museum across the street was cool. There was an awesome lunch place (West End) right near the ship where a hundred plus Swedes were eating. Great food and cool atmosphere

Nynashamn (Stockholm), Sweden

An hour train ride to Stockholm, but easy and worth it! We went to the Vasa museum which was great! The city was easy to walk around and very beautiful

Helsinki, Finland

Beware of the seagulls trying to eat your food! I lost a plate of moose meatballs to an attacking seagull. We did a harbor boat tour. It was just ok

Tallinn, Estonia

We took the shuttle to the old town. It was really cool and worth it. We ate ate at “Olde Hansa” medieval restaurant. It was really fun and very authentic. There are no chicken strips or hamburger on the menu. Try the bear.

Kiel, Germany

We just walked off the ship into the town and had a great time. Lots of shops and food options. Not too touristy

Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany

4 out of 5
We did the “Berlin on your own” excursion. The train was right by the ship. The staff on the train were informative and friendly with good snacks on the trip. It was a three hour train ride there and three hours back. A long day. Berlin was fine. A very modern city and the history is sad. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We did not spend any time in the port.

Disembarkation
