The Pride is a great ship. It is more intimate than the larger ships. We really enjoyed the elegance of this ship. Between the ports, crew, ambience, and food this cruise not only met our expectations it exceeded them by leaps and bounds. Best cruise so far and we have been cruising since 1995.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate in the dining room 6 of the eight nights. Food was always delicious. Our server was a bit distracted with other tables but as a whole it was good. One night we ate at the seafood place it was great! And one night at the steak house which was absolutely amazing!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We loved the Serenity Area and spent a good deal of time there. We enjoyed the casino for an hour or two several nights. The shows were good with the exception of one. Mostly we like to around the lido deck and play cards and dominoes.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The server in the dining room was a bit distracted with larger tables so service was not the best but it was not terrible. Our room steward was the best! His name is Muhamed! We enjoyed his care for our cabin and his greeting Morning and night. Such a pleasant man. The crew seems to work constantly cleaning, polishing, you name it. The ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had an ocean view cabin on deck 1. It was roomy and very comfortable. The temperature in the cabin was comfortable. We did have some noisy neighbors who were slamming closet doors and cabin doors but not a whole lot you can do about inconsiderate neighbors.
Ship tip
This is an elegant ship. Take your time to walk around and take in the beauty. Also check out the secrete garden area!
Costa Rica was ok….we would not necessarily choose to go there again. One thing we did find was Cuban Cigars and the price was very reasonable! We chose not to do an excursion.
This was the smoothest disembarkation we have ever experienced. We self assist with our luggage. The ship cleared for disembarkation around 7am and we were off the ship at 7:20am.
I liked the pride as well, especially the food, like you said. It was very reasonably priced as well. Thanks for the factual review. The Cuban cigars in Costa Rica are most likely fake. They do have an official Habanos retailer there, but the small shops in the cruise ports often sell glass top boxes or plastic wrapped cigars (which Habanos SA does not make)
