Review summary

We have cruised Carnival many times and always great. However, this ship needs to be dry docked and refitted with up to day accommodations. It will be a long while before we sail Carnival again and that a shame.

Room was not in very good shape, the vanity door was jammed open, the deck was to small for 2 lounge chairs. The air conditioning never worked right even though they tried to fix it. I could go on about the cabin but I won't.

I was in the Pride in Feb 2019 and I was a little old and outdated then. I agree, plus I think it would be nice if cruise lines gave a discount for older ships. They seem to charge a little more for much newer ships, why not charge a little less for old ones 🤷 just my thoughts 🤔. Because of the Pride we are trying another cruise line other than Carnival, we are on NCL in 10 days, the Getaway out of NY. 😁

We loved the Pride when we cruised in October. She is an older ship with a darker interior but she is well maintained and the staff is super!

I was on the same cruise and thought it was great! Costa Rica was amazing, and the ship is old but well maintained with only minor issues. Nothing that ruined our cruise experience. The piano bar was fantastic, and the violin trio was awesome.
