Review summary

If you like a lot of sea days, this cruise is for you

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Arrived at our selected time and was checked in pretty quickly. Was looking for a place to sit since Tampa was being very struck with the boarding times and our group was called. Part of the walk to get on to ship is outside and not covered.

Ship experiences

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff constantly cleaning hand rails and tables. Wait staff were very good and remember names and drink orders

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Clean ship but the decor is pretty old with the ship in a Greco design. Liked the layout of the ship with most active decks on 2 and 3 and food on 9

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Door was hard to open but think that was due to the door to the balcony. Had a blocked view but wasn’t too bad since it had the arm for the tender boat. Balcony was small, we stood out there but never sat since you would look at the tender. No UBS outlets as of 2021

Ship tip

If looking for a great adult only option, the serenity area is fantastic

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

4 out of 5
Doing construction in the Tampa area in 2021, so we were dropped off. No excursion since we are an hour away

Panama Canal (Cruise Into Canal)

4 out of 5
Wasn’t sure what a partial Panama Canal was, now we know. You go into the first lock and then hang in the lake for a bit before going back through the lock.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

1 out of 5
Didn’t get off the ship, didn’t have a nice port area at all.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Easy process with the ship not completely full. By the time we finished with breakfast, our group was called

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

Did you not know how many sea-days you had scheduled on the cruise you booked? Thats why you get a choice of itinerary when booking. The only exception is if there are weather issues or ports closing that would cause the ship to re-route. I was in the Pride for 7 days over thanksgiving and had 2 sea days total. So I guess it just depends on the ports listed.
