The cruise was wonderful. Had a couple days of rocking and raining. We had and awesome time. The ship, ports, staff, food and activities was great. Getting to port and on the ship was easy. The only hiccup we had was debarkation process. Just a minor inconvience. Definitely will sail on the Pride from Baltimore again!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We drove to Baltimore from Texas. This was one of the easiest ports to get to. Parking in the port to getting on the Pride was well organized and fast.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We are not picky eaters. We loved the Lido deck food to the MDR food.
Guy's Burger Joint
5 out of 5
This is the first place we go to eat after dropping our luggage off in the room.
BlueIguana Cantina
5 out of 5
Go to food for breakfast or lunch if we are not in the mood for seaside brunch or lido lines.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We loved watching movies at night. We enjoyed the Punch liner comedy club and the shows. We also enjoy doing various activities around the ship. So much to do! What i like is you can choose what you want to do or you can do nothing at all.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I liked the ships shows. Couple of the singers were really good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had really good service from customer service, waiters to room Stewards. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was always tidy. Crew were friendly also.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I thought the ship was beautiful for an older ship. The ship was clean and had an easy layout.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin 8119. Cabin was a standard balcony cabin. No complaints. The cabin was always clean and roomy enough for my husband and I. We kept the room cold.
Ship tip
Go in with and open mind. Don't stress about the small stuff. You are on vacation. Try something new. Maybe do something you would not normally do at home.
We stayed at the Sprinhill Suites by the Inner Harbour for three nights before the cruise. We had never been to Baltimore before. We spent a lot of time at the Inner Harbour and various areas within 2 miles of our hotel. We walked every where. We felt safe and had the best time. Definitely want to visit Baltimore again.
Always a favorite. Just a beautiful place. Did not want to leave. Sand is like powder. The water was so so soft and beautiful. We spent most of our time at the beach and did some shopping. The crew served a good beach lunch.
No excursion. We went straight to Jack's Shack. We had ice cold beer and had the best conch fritters and jerk chicken. Love the service at Jack's Shack and spent time with Calypso. Topher had just had ear surgery and was not out. Spent time at the beach. Beach chairs are free. Umbrellas are 10 dollars. Water was beatiful turquoise and blue colors. Had the best time. We went shopping then to Margarittavile afterwards.
Debarkation was a mess and poorly organized. They want you out of your stateroom by 9am. I understand they want get ready for the next guests. We waited on third floor for 2 1/2 hours. We had luggage to pick up. We did not get to our car till almost noon. Longest debarkation process we have ever been through.
