Review summary

This ship surprised us with quality of food and casual dining. The experience totally changed our opinion of Carnival

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Paid for faster to the fun and didn't seem to help until boarding. Also, no one welcomed us on to the ship, which was kind of weird.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining staff and food were great. Blue Iguana, Guys and Mermaids were top quality.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Bingo was a lot of fun. Green slide is awesome.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
Shows are OK. We liked the beach party.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Entertainment, dining room and steward staff are great. The rest were OK - not very friendly

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
While an older ship, we loved it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Mattresses are a little flimsy, but room was large. Balcony can use a makeover, but we loved it.

Ship tip

Get the Faster to the Fun for first tender to HMC and early disembark.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
Nice they it is so close to home. Primary reason we picked this sailing.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Friendly people and Home Sweet Home excursion was nice. Port visits should be longer. Kind of silly we are on a 7 night cruise but have to board by 2PM.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
