We did not watch television that much but liked to keep up with the situation on the hurricane. My husband enjoyed checking the news and said the EXACT same thing. We do still have choices in America even though some people believe we should all think just like them. I agree only CNN was not right we should have choices. They only had 4 channels in the sports bar as well and could not get the Ohio State game during a day at Sea. Most would say who wants to watch a football game during a cruise for those of you who are thinking that way you enjoy your cruise you're way and we will enjoy it our way. There was no Ohio State game because carnival only get 4 sports channels in the sports bar. They need more variety or will be losing business. We are now thinking twice about our go to cruise company because of these issues

My understanding is it is all satellite and you get what you get and it is limited. This week was rough for that. It would freeze and cut out and so they may not be able to get more options. No sure. There is nothing wrong with keeping up with current events even while on a cruise......... Just saying..... to all the judging people :-)

Some people “relax” by watching the news. Hopefully a WiFi update will allow people more choice on their own devices. I wouldn’t let lack of news stop me from enjoying a cruise, but when I couldn’t watch the World Cup, I was pretty grumpy.

I watch tv on a cruise. I love a good movie at the end of the day. I stay away from the news or any type of media though. I just want positive vibes. 😎✌️

With all there is to do on a cruise ship there is no need to be watching tv... But id you must watch it, change the channel or rent a movie from the ship !!!!

We had some “cabin time” w/tv on & I agree CNN “disrespect & bash the POTUS was on full swing-sickening-so we couldn’t even Watch the news & find out more on hurricane Florence. Truthfully it was disgusting 😡
