Overall, this cruise was just OK. The other passengers really ruined this cruise; they were unpleasant, rude and selfish. Baltimore is a great port to cruise from but I wouldn't recommend this cruise unless they didn't have any cruising experience.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Best embarkation we've ever had, very accessible and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was not as good as other cruise lines. Wait to get drinks at the bar could be long.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not exactly sure why people say that Carnival has more activities but I found it to be comparable to competitors.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The cheesiest shows I've ever seen on a ship and that's saying a lot. The actors don't seem to be professional quality, a level above high school productions.
The comedians were funny when you could get in the venue to see them. It's frustrating that they don't hold the shows in the larger theater to accommodate more people especially when shows run back to back.
Children's Programs
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Dining room staff and bartenders are lacking significantly compared to competitors especially on such a small ship. Although friendly, that additional level of service isn't there. Certain bartenders were consistently miserable and had attitudes towards passengers.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout is confusing at first but once you've wandered a bit, you'll get the hang of it. I really enjoyed all the different areas and the ship is very pretty.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
By far the smallest balcony room I've had. The decor was dated and the bed was not comfortable which led to many sleepless nights but it was decent.
This process ruined the vacation. Absolutely disorganized, no one could give me an answer, other passengers were rude and it was a bad experience. I would think that a company like Carnival would have a better process than what I saw.
Debarkation was a breeze, people need to follow directions . Entitled passengers are what makes it rough. It’s simple diamond, platinum fitful and special needs debarked first . The Taj Mahal level 2 right side then middle then left side. Then level 2 of the Taj Mahal. Then decks in order. How hard is that. If you want to get off early carry your own luggage off get the the Taj Mahal early and get a seat on the right side.
Embarkation was awesome but debarkation was less than smooth. We were off in great time. As usual ppl don’t listen or follow instructions so everything gets jammed up,
