Although this was my first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to...I loved it! Already want to book another one!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I did purchase the faster to the fun and it was worth every penny. Arrived at 12 and was on the ship by 115. Our luggage was at our door.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food in the dining room was very good. The service was awesome. We did not do any of the specialty restaurants. Guys burgers are delicious. Blue Cantina was very good. My daughter loved the pizza place. Really didn’t eat at the Buffets.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Plenty to do. One of the pools was closed the first couple of days while they refreshed it with new paint.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The show was good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Romeo my room steward was awesome. He was always ready to do anything we needed. Always greeted us. Our waiters and waitresses were also very good.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This ship was extremely clean. I can’t remember a time someone wasn’t cleaning. They also were doing maintenance the whole time. While we were at the ports they changed out the carpets in the hallway, painted the exterior of the ship. When reading previous reviews I started getting nervous about the condition of the ship...but this ships staff were constantly maintaining the ship. It was quite impressive.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
My cabin was more than I had hoped. Clean..a lot of room really. Plenty of room to store things. Bathroom was a great size. Beds were very comfortable. Balcony was definitely worth the extra price.
Prior to going..I was excited to go to this island. Once there I was a bit disappointed. The locals on the beach were a little overbearing. I think the island is still recovering from the hurricane last year. We ended up just going to Margarettaville which was a blast.
This port a lot of people complained about in previous reviews so we booked the swim with the dolphins excursion. Definitely worth it! What a great time. The bus drivers to the boat were friendly and told us history of Freeport. The boat to the dolphin area was a lot of fun. The captain of that boat gave us a run down of our experience and some local history. The dolphin swim was so much fun. Truly a lifetime experience.
