Review summary

Would not recommend this ship. Design is outdated and they need more ports to stop at and for longer periods of time. To much ship time.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food and drink were excellent. Except for when we went to Dave's Steakhouse, the had a sing a long or name that tune activity in the atrium which was so loud we couldn't hear the waiter and waitress and couldn't carry on a conversation. The other thing was we were never told there were two elegant nights in the dining room and there were no alternatives for dinner unless you wanted to eat buffet or wait until after 8:15pm. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
This trip has a lot of time on ship and the activities are kind of minimal and the pools were always packed. The

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
This ship needs to either be retired or have a major overhaul. On the lower decks you always had to go through the casino which was filled with smoke or go up over and down again to avoid it. It didn't seem to matter though because the doors to the casino were never closed and smoke poured out to the lower decks.

Nothing to do here if you don't have an excursion booked. Needs to be dropped as a Port. Not worth the stop.

Pride is a great ship 🚢. We were on her in march 2018 for third time and will no doubt plan on cruising on this ship many times in the future. As to many sea days that’s crazy. We love our sea days and when we want less then we sail out of Florida

I don't think that they are as strict on enforcing elegant nights now as they once were. They will still allow you to eat in the main dining room with slacks and a nice polo shirt. Personally, I like to put on my suit since I don't get to do it that often anymore. Love the Pride.

They tell you on the website about the elegant nights. Should have researched.

And I personally love more ship time over time in the ports except for HMC which I would love to spend 2 days on!!

I was on the Pride same week and loved it. Yes it is older ship but still found it easy to navigate. In regards to researching the ship before you go I agree. It is also common to have 2 cruise elegant nights on any cruise over 5 days ( which only has 1). With the casino and the smokiness, that is common or normal on any cruise ship. Yes the decor is a little dated and not what I would have picked out but all and all a great ship.

Sailed a few months ago and really love the Pride!

Calling troll Don't think they actually sailed on the Pride. There are tell-a-tale details in their key description that they have that are very wrong.

It’s vacation got to be better than work

I can’t stand these negative people who spend 7 days looking to find fault.

Total loser.

I feel the opposite, we loved the Pride in March 2018, and are booking again for 2019. I loved the layout, the crew and all the activities!

Reviews like this make me wonder if the people did any pre booking research. How could you not know your ports and number of sea days before leaving
