Review summary

Overall great time. We love leaving out of Baltimore because of short ride to port and ease of getting on and off ship. I just wish the itinerary could be switched up some.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Baltimore is the best port for embarkation! We arrived early for our 2-2:30 time slot. We got there at 11:00 am and was on ship by 12:30. Staff was great and very organized. Left out of Miami, Ft Lauderdale, and Cape Caneveral before can’t be compared to Baltimore.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was good. Steakhouse was amazing. Buffets were ok.

Redfrog Rum Pub

5 out of 5

This was the place to be! Entertainment was great there. Bands and karoke were very entertaining.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Serenity area needed cleaned up some. Cushions were all stained . It was more enjoyable at main pool.

Spa Carnival

3 out of 5

Spa was great. But I prepaid this over a year ago and my cash sail and sign was charged again. When I questioned this I was told the spa was not owned by Carnival and I had to wait for the spa to credit me and then I was told Carnival had to reimburse me. Very bad customer service. It took several visits to guest services and the spa and two and half days to get my cash put back on my account.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Music was great! Especially loved all the 80’s music while onboard.

Children's Programs

No children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room servers were very attentive. Good service. Our room steward was absolutely amazing! He went over and beyond to make our stay great! He was definitely with the extra tip we left him. Didn’t feel the recommended amount was enough.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is very easy to get around. Everything well marked. The Pride is in need of a makeover, which I hear is scheduled for next winter.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was nice. Lots of closet space. Balcony very nice too. Jeefrey our steward kept it very tidy.

Ship tip

I would recommend this ship because of the size of ship and that it leaves from Baltimore. Embarkation and debsrkation was extremely smooth.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

Just to board ship.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Very beautiful beach! Went to margaritaviile and hung out at pool too. Locals were very annoying but I guess that’s typical in these kinds of places.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

We were rerouted to Nassau because the tenders weren’t ready to transport the guests to the island. We were notified the night before we were supposed to get to Princess Cays. No big deal.., still had a great time.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
Definitely do an excursion here. Very industrial town. We did snorkeling through Carnival excursion desk, snorkeling was great but bus ride to get there was awful!!! A huge bus filled to capacity with no air condition or windows that could open! It was terrible! Everyone was complaining and drenched by the time we go to where we were going, very

Disembarkation
