A good time with lots of really great experiences. The Chef's Table and the Open Ocean Dolphin Swim were the highlights of a really wonder trip with many great moments.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
My wife and I bought the "Faster to the Fun" excursion allowing expedited boarding and it worked very smoothly. We did have a bit of a delay boarding but it was caused by the Coast Guard doing an expanded inspection that particular Sunday delaying all boarding. Once cleared for embarkation the process was very very smooth and quick.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The dining was just okay. We did go to David's Steakhouse and I was a bit disappointed in my steak. I got a ribeye and it was not trimmed very well with lots of gristle. It did taste okay but was not as tender as I expected. The main dining room was also okay. Service was spotty. One night we spent almost 2 hours being served dinner, the next we had almost all our food brought within 15 minutes of being seated. The food itself was spotty as well. We had a marvelous fried softshell crab the first night and a horrible bowl of onion soup another. We did find the buffet to be good for breakfast and lunch. While a lot of it was not great, none of it was horrible.
We did go to the Chef's Table one evening. We had one of the finest meals I have ever had there. It made up for all of the issues with the other meals.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did little on the ship other than walking and watching the sea.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We went to the evening shows, both sing\dance and the comedy club offerings. The comedians were really quite good. The musical shows were okay. The dancers and singers were mostly okay with a couple or 3 standouts.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Almost all of the staff were wonderful. We had only to seem to need something and someone was trying to help us. There were no exceptions, all staff were unfailingly polite and helpful.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very little was wrong with the cleanliness and maintenance of the ship. It was always clean and orderly. The crew did a great job of keeping the junk picked up and stowed away.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin in the forward part of the ship on deck 6. It was roomy enough we could move about without issue and was kept in great shape by the staff. Clean towels and linens as needed, trash removed and floors cleaned daily. Perfect for our needs.
Ship tip
Try to book the Chef's Table dining experience. It was well worth the cost of the upgrade.
Since we live near here this review is only of the cruise port. The parking was expensive at 105 dollars for a week. The facility is under construction and as a result the getting into the parking area was a mess. Very slow, very confused.
The port of Freeport is a nice place. We did the open ocean swim with dolphins offered through UNEXSO. It was a great excursion, one of the best we have ever had. Well worth the cost and I would probably book it again if I return.
Getting off the boat was quick and easy. Again, the Faster to the Fun came into play and we were among the first allowed off after those that had not checked bags. If I go on Carnival again I will be getting the Faster to the Fun package. From the time we arrived in port till we were in the car and headed home was less than 90 minutes.
