Review summary

I would recommend not using Carnival Cruise Line.  We went on the Pride out of Baltimore, MD, the line to get into the terminal wrapped around the corner of the building.  I didn't expect having to stand outside for hours just to get in the building.

The food on the boat was unimpressive, we cook better food at home.  I asked for extra salad dressing at the Normandie sit down restaurant and was told no, it's all premixed.

I did enjoy Guy's Burgers.

Are destinations Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay were awesome.  Freeport, Bahamas a huge disappointment, they are still recovering from hurricanes  (1 from 8 mts ago, 1 from 2004).

Ivars at Shore Excursion desk on the Pride has a terrible customer service attitude. He sold us 4 bus tickets last minute to tour the island, spent $144 to see run down buildings and hotels that are falling down.  When we spoke to him he said you got what you paid for.  They shouldn't be selling this tour, I saw plenty of this driving through New York and New Jersey for free.

Sounds like cruising isn't for you! And I too didn't appreciate your insulting comments about NY and NJ. I'm really glad that I never run into people like you on cruises!

Suggestion - stay home, cook, look at pretty pictures on the internet, get up before family members so there is no waiting in line and watch Triple DDD

Just off the Pride a week ago. Third time on her. They have recently changed boarding procedures so working kinks out. Did deal with one guy at excursions desk with attitude so that is valid. But food is always excellent and staff exceptional. No real complaints here.

Pride always fuck up my account & I even got hurt my first time on the ship. The food always sucks. But I been on this damn boat 4 times and going again this month. BUT I always have a lot of fun. LOL.

The Pride has always been good to me and my wife. never had a problem with service or with the food. If you did your research you would have known what to expect from the tour.

If you drink enough any ship would be fine

perhaps cruising is not your thing. I've been on 18 cruises 8 of them on carnival.. the food is always as good as a good/fair rest. customer svc reps respond in kind.. you come with an attitude you get one in return .. if you are looking for something more then you are getting. think about spending twice as much..

I wasn't a fan of Carnival Pride we had fun but it's a small ship and 8 days on it stated getting old.

We have cruised out of Baltimore once and didn't have to wait outside or that long. Food has always been awesome on any of the cruises on CCL. Maybe if you want better food you should have stayed home, at least you didn't have to make it And I'm quite sure they would have given you extra dressing. Ever think that attitude has a lot to do with it? I'm thinking you might have an issue with people and expect them to bow down before you. Try being nice to them and research things before cruising. I also find your comments about NY insulting. Stay home, because no one would want to be on a cruise with you!!!

I just want to say thatci did 3 cruises with carnival. On the glory and pride. We had a great time and everything was fine. I think that maybe the problem was not necessarely the cruise or the cruiseline !!!!

You are right, if guests want to tour the island, Carnival should prevent them or at least repair the island before tours. Better yet, Carnival should prevent hurricanes and poverty too.

sorry to hear of your bad experience. The pride is my favorite thus far I have never had but great experiences with carnival maybe u should call in a complaint to carnival corporate about your bad customer service .if u don't report it they wouldn't know that they need improvements.
