Review summary

We had to wait in line in the Port of Baltimore, Maryland for two hours standing because they were understaffed. We had a time slot of 2-2:30 to check in, but the 12-12:30 people were still waiting. Customer Service on the ship was bad. The ship is old. The food choices on the ship are bad. The drink package is a joke.

Carnival has their own island, but your drink package does not work. Our friends spent 10AM to 3PM on a great island paying $10.48 a drink and $6.60 for a beer because their drink package does not work on their own island. I have gone on other cruises and this one was the worst. Florida ports are better and faster.

I am not a fan of having burgers, fries, and pizza all the time. They close the salad bar early. The pizza is fresh, but you wait 25 minutes for each pizza.

The 90's called they want their ship back. It is small, old, and they do not have enough seating for everyone on the deck. The hallways are dirty.

Old and dirty. The balcony is small not extended. The bed was uncomfortable.

Ship tip

Save your money! Carnival has gotten overpriced. Their ship is old and dirty. I will never go on Carnival again. Try Royal or Disney if you want to cruise. I have traveled before on Carnival out of Florida before and the port was faster and nicer. I spent 3200 just to book it. I wasted my money.

I love the Pride, been on her many times. I do agree that the food bars close early and you do have to wait forever for pizza. Also, I do agree that the carnival owned island, the drink package worked there but do not.

I went to bar down the street from my home and beer was $7!!! They purposely make them cold and taste good so I'll drink more than one!!! When I was a drink and drinking beer was only $3!!!!

We boarded and were seated at the bar in 25 minutes, do I don't get that. The drink package worked for us. To each his/her own based on drinking preferences. Only been on one cruise with another booked. Tend to agree with you on the food though. Underwhelmed. Only sub-par mark for me, but it may have been just me. My wife was ok with it. Still loved the cruise and will be on one again next March, God willing.

Going to be our 4th cruise in May in Pride. Have never had a problem. Lines are a norm in life.
