The ship was very dark and depressing and too much cigarette smoke.  Our cabin stewart was wonderful.  Food was okay, we had 2 very good dinners in the restarunt

Sounds like somebody works for the cruise line LOL

@Acameron10 I think each and every ship we are on makes everything lighten up!! Each ship has its own personality! I love to cruise!

Not dark to me! Every time I board the pride my eyes light up

I have to agree that the Pride is one of the few "dark" ships. Compared to the Sunshine or the Breeze the decor is dark, especially some hallways. It doesn't make much difference to me because I love to cruise and in fact, I'm booked on the Pride next October for my granddaughter's wedding! It's all what you make of it.

So I gained 5 pounds from "just OK food?" Somebody really doesn't like cruising.

Not dark to me and smoke is in every carnival casino something to avoid by not going to the casino I loved the Pride

Strawberrikat, wear a mask in the casino. That's what I do. You can pick up a handful from any dr office or hospital entrance and take them in your suitcase.

Of course, one of the places my daughter and I want to check out. Lol

Then I would say stay out of the casino if your allergic to smoke??

Only the casino smells like smoke

Great I am allergic to cigarette smoke :/

Yes I do

Natural light throughout the ship. Dark when you walk in from outside, yes, but be an optimist, that means it was sunny outside. As for the smoke, I don't like it either, but Carnival weighs the complaints of the non smokers vs the $$ brought in by the smokers in the casino. The smokers keep the cost of the cruise down for everyone else by leaving pay checks in the slots. Thank you smokers.
