Review summary

I was hesitant to cruise on Carnival because I knew it was a family cruise ship and this trip was for my husband and myself. I had been on Royal Caribbean and loved everything about it. My first disappointment was the food. Having remembered such a fantastic experience previously I felt Carnival dining was average...at best. Then one of the days we went to Grand Cayman and had a very difficult time getting off the ship. I was more than frustrated since 95% of the people on the ship were clueless on the procedure to be taken over to the island. There was a lot of unnecessary waiting and a lot of confusion and anger. When we kindly approached one of the cruise director staff, she basically blamed us for not knowing what was going on!!
