Review summary

We chose sailing from Baltimore for convenience and it was a wise choice. How nice to drive 1 1/2 hours and be at the cruise ship! Parking and embarkation were easy and quick. Service on the ship was exceptional and dinners were lovely. Our stay in Bermuda was blessed with wonderful weather and we had a great time.

The Steakhouse meal ($30 supplement) was truly an experience in very fine dining. The regular dining room provided us with very nice dinners as well. Breakfast buffet was lacking unless we ordered omelettes.

Entertainment

Our cruises with Royal Caribean spoiled us in this respect. The show on the 2nd to last evening was excellent. Otherwise we walked out twice due to a poor start to the show.

The interior of the ship tends to be dark and the decor is over the top tacky. Everything was clean and there were plenty of elevators (a real convenience). We felt as though the ship was old and needed an update in decor.

Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable and convenient. Our balcony room gave us a chance to step outside without walking to an upper deck. The TV was very old and tiny though.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

Take the tour of the Bermuda History Museum which includes the Commissioner's House. The shopping mall offered a nice variety of souvenirs also. Some nights Goombay show is offered at the Snorkeling Beach.
