Review summary

The Pride was well maintained and the casual atmosphere was conducive to a cruise to the Bahamas. We've cruised other lines several times and feel we have the experience to be objective. We chose the Carnival cruise line because we were traveling with our son and his family including a 10 year old and a 6 year old. The staff in the dining room was superlative. I can't say enough about their attention to detail and personal touches. The food was only mediocre. The staff on the rest of the ship seemed sparse and often not available. This was especially true of the Bar staff.

We took public transportation to the Kennedy Space Center. The general admission price gave us fabulous access to the exhibits; the bus drivers through the KSC were informative and very professional. Highly recommend the visit.

Pros: Casual atmosphere

Cons: Food was only mediocre
