Review summary

The ship was very clean. Our cabin steward was GREAT!! The weather was very bad and many of the areas were off limits due to high winds for several days. We enjoyed the shore excursions offered.

Quality of food was better in the Normandie DIning Room vs. the Mermaid Grill. The variety of restaurants was okay. Dining times were convenient.

Okay. Bingo was fun, but it was really expensive!

Children's Programs

Our grandchildren (7 & 9) LOVED Camp Carnival. They participated in every event offered and enjoyed each one immensely. Now, our 2 and 3 year old grandchildren didn't like the programs at all. They did not want to be left there for even 5 minutes.

Service and Staff

The ship staff were very friendly and helpful in all locations, with the exception of the Piazza Cafe. The server at the Piazza was irritable and curt.

The ship layout was easy to navigate. Every public area we saw was very clean. The decor was okay.

We LOVED our stateroom and our cabin steward!! The size, comfort, conditon and location suited us extremely well. Will ask for this type of stateroom again. The towel designs were extraordinary and unique. Loved that too!

Nassau, Bahamas

Our excursion was canceled due to high winds, so we went to Atlantis. That was truly amazing and we had a good time there.

Swimming with the dolphins. That was a truly great experience. The trainers were patient and knowledgeable and allowed us to have a memorable encounter with the dolphins. Also, our bus driver on the way over was great! Very informative about the island and its history.
