Mediocre experience

Sail Date: October 31, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Balcony

Ship headed to dry dock; sailed with broken propeller 75% of voyage; Having my table shake and rattle at meals is horrid! Staff, largely uneducated to their departments; Carnival is not TECH SAVY for the 2000's....get with it~~~

Pros: Price only

Cons: Broken Propeller; Delayed Departure and Return at Home Port; Lack of time in Freeport;

Recommends Carnival Pride? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Staff does not know what broth or consomme is?!~ Come on, educate them; No deviation from menu - example: nausea wanted broth not food!!! Also by 4th night in dining room I was bored with menu; Maitre D TIP??? Never saw the man until Saturday when he "sucked" it up to each person.
Children's Programs
My 12 y/o was dead bored, attended 1 activity and never went back
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Friendly, yes; Knowledgable, and above & beyond??? No, they have no education outside of their own departments
Entertainment
