Service was excellent...room steward...bar staff...dining room staff all very accommodating. Comedy shows and the dance show were very entertaining. The weather was perfect. We had a great time in Cozumel.

I had a really good time and made memories that will last a lifetime. the staff were awesome the food was great and plentiful.  I only have a few complaints. Biggest complaint is that the Paradise is a smoking permitted everywhere ship. It is not good for non smokers or anyone with allergies. I tried taking any possible route outside. the smoke filled the room hallways.  2nd complaint, finding a garbage can is a challenge. I found garbage cans only in the bathrooms and my room, so I had to carry my garbage around with me. There are many recycle bins!  3rd, the lido deck is slippery, wear non slip shoes! I would have rated higher if the ship did not allow smoking everywhere. 

our waiter in the main dinning room was off the chart, one of the best we have ever had.  the only negative thing I could say is sometimes the children were out of control, staff was vert friendly

I  needed a short getaway. It did the job. Food was good, entertainment good, but I was surprised there was no show on one night and the lobby entertainment was the same every evening, which was a little mundane. All in all we had a good time! 

This is my third cruise with Carnival, I find that the service on the ship has declined.  There were lines for everything.  The food was terrible no different than a fast food restaurant.  Dinner was better very small servings.  Room service was over an hour wait.  Family was separated in different dining rooms.  Young children running all over the ship at all hours unsupervised. 

The on board ship credit or cash back promised was never given.  Drinks are very expensive. After you pay for gratuities in advance be ready to pay 15% more on that expensive drink.

Not happy....:(  Done with Carnival. 

This was our 9 yo granddaughter's first cruise and she had a blast. We picked this cruise because it wasn't too long and went to a couple of places my wife & I haven't been as of yet, as well as noted spots for good swimming/snorkeling. Although they had a kid's Camp Carnival, my granddaughter only went once. It wasn't really due to staff or program issue as it was that she's a small, petite 9 yo, and in her group ( 9-11) there were mostly older, bigger boys and she was getting jostled and bumped around during the activities. We ended up spending more time together on the water slide and pool (I have the sunburn to prove it..LOL).

The rooms were always cleaned when we were out of the cabin (we only saw our room staff twice, unlike the other cruises). We were always greeted by friendly, smiling staff and always responded to any of our requests. The only issues I had with this cruise was the lunch buffet. The choices were ho-hum at best and tended to be overly salty. On the other hand, the diner was MUCH better and our waiter staff...Homer & crew made the experience even better. They were always very attentive, greeted us by name and made sure our granddaughter was spoiled.

Compared to the the last cruise that took us to Jamaica, we were able to spend a more relaxing time, not having to always check our watches to make sure we were back to the ship on time. We had plenty of time to pretty much to do what we planned and then some...what a big difference!!!!!

The debarkation process didn't go so well because ship's security and Immigration agents couldn't find several foreign passengers and we delayed a good hour + (this was NOT Carnival's fault). I chose the option of having our baggage picked up early because my wife wasn't able to lug around a heavy suitcase and same for the granddaughter. That caused us to wait for what seemed like an excruciating "forever"...which was actually only a couple of hours. We won't do that again!!!!

We would recommend this cruise...$$$, service and places visited.   

The ship was old.  It had rust in the bathroom and shower.  The buffet at Ledo deck was not good.  Half of the elevators didn't work throughout the entire cruise (from the day we left port).  No one greats you when you get on the ship.  The first night dinner was a disaster.  The cheeseburger and fries at dinner tasted reheated from lunch (the fries were dry).  We were on a Disney Cruise prior traveling 4 nights paying the same amount with 100% better service than on this. We would not recommend going on that cruise ship again.

Was disapointed no proper entertainment in theatre on an evening,,

Ship was rather dirty o be it an older ship ,,

Housemaid was very rude on last morning leaving room due to hold up by immigration we were 5 mins. over time,,

Booked our trip with friends wanted rooms near each other  they put one couple back of ship and we at front Duh,,,

Booked anytime dining was given 8.15pm o be it HEAD WAITER  did change after 2 days Duh,,

                                          FOOD WAS REASONABLE

Enjoyed the cruise very much.  Something for everyone to keep the family happy.  The ship was clean and the service was wonderful.  Very nice dinners in the main dining room.  I mostly avoided the buffets.  A bit noisy around the pool area.  Son enjoyed the table tennis games (but not enough ping pong balls to go around).  Daughter enjoyed the activities for 12-14 year olds.  Adults enjoyed the spa.  

Nice, relaxing cruise.  I enjoyed the ports of call, the casino on board, the comedy shows, the entertainment on board and, of course, the meals.  Service was excellent.  I booked this cruise last-minute, and wish I had booked an outside cabin!!

Every employee that we associated with was very polite and courtious, all services were prompt and timely! I cant compare it to any other ship because I have only been on three cruises and all were on Carnival!

everything was great.food,service,friendly crew.the shows could have been better.as far has the swiming pools were clean and cool but the hot tubs jets were all not working and it wasnt hot.but overall we would sail again on your ship.hope for longer trips.beatiful ship and the ports of call were great.thanks for the great time and mostly relaxing five days.truly a vacation.hope to do it again.tompat78@hotmail.com

My teenagers and my glass was never refilled. The food was mediocre at best. It reminded me of the food at Golden Coral. The food tasted as bad as it looks.

My cruise was all I had anticipated. Smooth sailing on the Paradise and a fine crew to compliment

the onboard activities and good food . I enjoyed the comedians and the two shows I attended.

Room service was great and on time. I'm already a mry next cruise with Carnival.

The food was wonderful but the only downside was the food contained way too much salt. Unfortuneatly my body did not respond well to all the salt. My entire body blew up like a baloon. My feet were so swollen that I could not wear any shoes by the end of the cruise.

I hope that the cruise line will take a closer look at this in the future. I am afraid to board Carnival due to this issue.

Other than this the staff was so kind, helpful and all around wonderful.

we took grandson and daughter on the cruise,

boy enjoyed the games, and some of the food, 

problems were room too small for 4 people...could not get good meals in restautant(elation)..they tried but food for a vergetation was horrible,,,we finallt foiund a specialty in deck 10, Paris dinning specality,,we feel elation should have told is about this earlier when we realized we could not get proper food,,,we did not have problems on other cruiswe lines on the food

we did enjoy the excursions, and the fitness center.

most of the people were polite and helpful,

we learned a littel from the experience, how to get around obstacles, etc.

This is a perfect cruise if all you want to do is get really drunk and gorge yourself on cafateria food. I was really dissapointed because I thought that there would be lots to do on the ship but that was not true, everything involved lots of drinking and gambleing. In your free time you could gamble, shop for things, or visit the bars. I would have loved a cooking class, a painting class or movie night but there was nothing like that. Everything on the ship was a very HARD sell and that was not relaxing to me at all. The pool on Paradise was super SMALL and constantally filled with drunks - I wasn't able to swim at all. The Serenty deck (no one under 21) was packed and with 2 littled hot tubs that were always full, it wasn't fun - I would have liked books on tape available.  The crew was very hard working and my room was clean and that was nice but the quality of the food was gross. The food tasted like it was micro waved, kinda tough. Mexico was scary, lots of shop owners trying to pull you in for a sale, now I know why they want to come to America.

I have been to a total of three cruises with this cruise line however, this past cruise the food did not have any taste and was blend. All we eat was turkey sandwiches bc the food was so bad. However, I did enjoy the entertainment was awesome and the room was always clean.

The Paradise is an older ship and of course needs some updating.  Looking beyond that, there is no excuse for the rooms to be dusty.  I made a mark in the dust the 1st day we were there and kept adding another mark each day!  No one bothered. Also, I never met our room captain.  We had 2 rooms and I would not know who to speak to.  (Last year, when on the Fantast, our room person knew our names and was very neat and clean ) The food was good and our waiter Septa was wonderful.  My family and I don't smoke so we had to avoid a lot of the ship.  I think they really need to update the ventilation system in the casino area...Just walking through was awful.  We traveled last year on the Fantasy and everything was emaculate.  (It is as old as the Paradise)  Everyone was friendly.  There were a lot of lightbulbs out all over the ship and was for the entire cruise.  I will rethink going on an older ship again.
