This 5 night getaway was the perfect way to de-stress after the Black Friday madness

I went with my Mother. We are planning to go again in the near future. Except for the waiting period at the beginning of the trip, it was a wonderful vacation. We now kow the do and don'ts for our next cruise.

We thoroughly enjoyed the great hospitality every services and staff showed to my wife and I during our cruise days. The Food and drinks, Onboard Activities (bingo!!) The Entertainment (The Latin Connection The Best!!) EVERYTHING ON BOARD!! Godspeed!!

For a small older ship without all the bells and whistles of a large ship, the crew does a great job making it so much fun and having a lot of activities to keep you occupied. The cruise director and staff make it so much fun!!! This is my second time on this ship and I have been on many large ships, for some reason the photography staff does a better job than any ship I have ever been on hands down!

Our family had a great time on the Carnival Paradise. We enjoyed each other and we enjoyed participating in the activities together. The food was not good this time and that was disappointing. Our first night in the MDR was terrible (long wait time, food not appetizing..) and we opted not to return for the remainder of the trip. The food for the buffet was not much better. Per usual, Guys and Blue Iguana were decent, but after a few days, that got old as well. Our daughter had a blast in the kids club and did not want to leave the ship. I thoroughly enjoyed the shows and casino. Despite the food, we had a great trip.

Overall this was a great trip. We would recommend this ship & cruise line. The staff were very accommodating. I didn't like the fact that there are no garbage cans anywhere (except the bathrooms) readily available. The gift shop could use a little more variety also. I didn't think the cruise was a kid friendly (teenagers)as it was advertised.

We enjoyed everything about this ship and quick getaway! Food was great and the cabin steward was fantastic! He went above and beyond to make our trip more than expected!

We enjoyed our cruise and the staff that made it memorable. Holds on our cards from the cruise ship got a little annoying and we had to keep visiting the service desk. I think this should be fixed for future guests.

We loved the experience ! The only thing we didn't like was the way the customer service lady talked to us.She didn't seem like she wanted to help at all. But everything else was great!

From talking to staff they supposedly had a hopping boat the week before hand. We found it very boring and wasn't much entertainment. The two shows they had were the same one on a previous boat two years ago.

Overall very disappointed. I am pregnant and had barely anything to do that didn’t involve drinking, gambling, or spending money in some way. Will not be choosing carnival again or recommending it to anyone.

The cruise itself was amazing. No issues, and the food was really good for the most part. There was an issue one night were an announcement was sent to the entire ship and state rooms, asking for all crew to report to stations. It worried a lot of people, but later it turned out that there had been a fire in the crew quarters and someone pushed the wrong announcement button. Other than that, the whole cruise was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Shortage of staff, rooms and bathrooms smaller. Only one chair in cabin. Food not up to Carnival's standards. A lot of rude guest that did not have any consideration for other guest. Too many scoters and wheel chairs.

Overall it was an awesome cruise, good entertainment, relaxing watching the ocean is always peaceful.

Great cruise for relaxing. Had rough seas and some rain but it didn't take away from a good time on the ship.

This was an overall nice experience and cruise with two minor disappointments, but we had a great time as a family.

This is our 3rd time on the Paradise, and quite honestly, we were expecting a little more than we got. While certain parts of the ship seemed to have been given attention, troubling ventilation in the room and in the Casino areas were a few of the disappointments. The over crowding at the main pool was by nature of only having one pool, but there just didn't seem that much to do. We will return to Carnival mainly because of the food and service. The Paradise is a good starter ship for those never having gone on a cruise, but we will be seeking out other ships in the fleet next time.

Carnival is the best cruise line! Their service is unbeatable and the food will blow you away!
