Review summary

From talking to staff they supposedly had a hopping boat the week before hand. We found it very boring and wasn't much entertainment. The two shows they had were the same one on a previous boat two years ago.

The only bar they left open where the good entertainment was, which was setup next the casino, there was no smoking signs but of course that didn't stop people.. Needles to say we couldn't enjoy that entertainment. Unless you wanted to be in a coffin by the end of the night.

Cabin / Stateroom

They were much smaller for a balcony room than we have ever experience wit Carnival. However, Rusty was awesome and it was always clean. We woke up to a friendly smile and went to bed from one.

Ship tip

If you are a late bird and like to enjoy entertainment on your vacation, you might want to get the agenda first... the main deck was shut down around 5-6 pm every night.

Cozumel, Mexico

My children (ages, 21, 22, 24, and 25) were robbed by two cops in Cozumel, Mexico. They rents scooters from port where we were dropped off at Cozumel inside the port area. We would not let them get one outside. Returning around 6pm they were pulled over and was threaten they had to pay two Cozumel cops money or they were going to arrest them and they would miss there ship barking time. My other half brought this to the attention of Guest Service Staff so something like this wouldn’t happen to other people. The response that she received from the employees, well that’s why you should have scheduled an excursion through us. I was applaud of the response, she made my wife feel like that’s what they deserved it for not spending more money through Carnival on excursions. All we were trying to do was protect future customers of Carnival from getting guns to their heads like our children did. Thank goodness we raised them to just cooperate, otherwise, things could have gone south.
