As you can see, very average. This was maybe my 15th lifetime cruise. On a scale of 1 to 15 it was about the 6th most enjoyable. No Wow moments! Stage show was best part, otherwise just average to slightly below average. Oh, worst part was the safety mandatory event pre sailing. God forbid there was a serious situation on board the passengers would be clueless as to what to do. The host for that, the comedians, other events were trying to be funny....they were embarrassing for the most part. I’m a consultant! Carnival needs a come to reality wake up call, in so many aspects...

Fantastic! loved every minute. Had a great time on the ship. Loved the food and all the workers. Lots of fun fun fun.

I was waiting for a long time for a drink from a bar when I was sitting in the restaurant. The rest is ok.

This was a sister and our husbands cruise and was so relaxing and fun

Overall, the service and cleanliness were great. In general, I like cruises and have enjoyed several in the past with my husband or a group of friends, but despite the fact that Carnival advertises heavily for family vacations, it was very hard with the young kids. First, it is ridiculous that you charge for children under 12. No other vacation destination does that, even ones that offer free child entertainment, etc. Second, we had two adjoining rooms, one with me and my 14mos daughter, and one with my husband and my other two kids (6yo and 3yo) but the only option for his room was two twin beds or one king (no murphy/trundle/bunk beds, and no room for a cot) so he ended up having to share a "king" bed with a big crack in the middle (which is more appropriately described as a double or small queen sized bed, by the way) with two children and did not sleep well at all. Regarding kids activities, we have a 1.5yo who was too young to go to kids club, a 3yo who didn't enjoy kids club and a 6yo who didn't mind kids club but honestly, she's very able to entertain herself so she does pretty well anywhere. We were also pretty disappointed with the Dr. Seuss activities. We brought the kids to kids club before the parade thinking that they must be bringing the kids to see it, and they didn't take them. Then the Dr. Seuss breakfast was less than great. First, they messed up our reservation and had a table set for 4 for our party of 16 and then gave us quite a bit of attitude about it like it was somehow our fault. We finally got seated and got our orders in, which took a LONG time (service in the dining room at night was AMAZING but not so for the breakfast) and then they called our table to go see The Cat in the Hat the moment all the food finally arrived. The portions were WAY too large for the kids and much more sugary than they needed to be (half the fruit loops on the french toast would have been more than sufficient). The yogurt parfait was so syrupy sweet that literally none of the 7 children in our party took more than one bite. Also, there were no great options for adults, the only non sugar laden options, steak and eggs, or green eggs and ham, were so salty you could barely eat them (and that is saying something because I LOVE salt). It was definitely not worth even the minimal extra $6 a person (we were even charged for my 14mos old??). We got through this cruise because it was my sister-in-laws 40th birthday but unless there is a way to improve the options for the children (liven up kids club, warmer pool water, kids pool, better/more kid-friendly activities, etc.), we won't be going on another one anytime soon.

Worth the money, but I paid very little. The ship feels very dated. The food leaves a lot to be desired. The entertainment could be better. The service is superb.

This cruise changed my opinion on Carnival as it would have been a very good cruise if not for the size of the ship, obviously that is not their fault but mine.

Overall it is a great get away for a reasonable price for someone living in the Tampa area.

Overall we had a positive experience with the cruise. However, the food can be improved to serve a diverse customers, especially asian foods (lack of variety). Plus some of the arena could be improved. The shows were great however the arena can be improved.

AM SO SORRY WE WASTED OUR MONEY NOBODY WANTED TO HELP US WHEN WE ASKED SHIP SMELLED LIKE POO THE WHOLE TIME AND MOM COULDNT GET AROUND!!

We purchased Faster to the fun, so getting on and off the ship was even easier than it could have been. Crew was very nice, and made the effort to always remember us. The food at the chefs dinner was a definite highlight.

Nickle and Dime you to death. You pay for the cruise and then have to pay for water, soda, drinks and then ADD tip onto that AFTER paying the gratuity BEFORE your trip. If you want a basic, poor expectation, rude staff and very poor food, Carnival is for you.

We are already planning our next cruise. We have cruised as a family on several cruise ships including the OASIS OF THE SEAS but The Paradise was perfect for our family. It was small enough that we always found a family member and never worried about the kids.

I was mislead and told there wouldn't be that many kids on the ship. There were 900 kids. I specified this was my first cruise and I was single and I was told there should be a good mixture of people. I was told most families don't take 5 day cruises and it being new years I shouldn't have a problem. Also there was only one pool on the ship not 2

This was a fun get away with my family. We had a nice time on board and in port.

The cruise was great. We are not frequent cruisers so we dont have a lot to compare it to. We both love art ..we went to two great art auctions on the cruise...learned so much from the Park West folks

Great first cruise experience. Everyone in the family had a good time (7 of us ranging from 6 to 40), which is no small feat. We will probably do another one. Thanks again, especially to Mehluli, Miguel and Al.
