Review summary
Unfortunately, it is was not a favorite part on the Paradise. Let me start off first by stating this was not the cruise we signed up for. I was looking forward to going to Grand Cayman however, the itinerary was changed. I was informed via email and was issued a $25.00 sail credit (good gesture :) Trying to make good of what it was since this was definitely a needed vacation for me and my husband. The first night I pulled back the covers after a long drive to Tampa and found not one but 2 blood stains. I called housekeeping and they came and changed the linen and of course apologize over and over again. I received a call from guest services and the housekeeping supervisor came to ask if everything was ok because she had heard about the unsanitized, despicable ordeal through housekeeping. Of course, my husband was so excited and wanted us to really enjoy each other company so I tried to get past the bloody sheets but it was hard I literally slept in my clothes the duration of the cruise and that did not go to well with hubby. However, he understood. We signed up for the 8:15 late dining and I was sick one night and when I finally was able to pull myself together we attempted to go to another dining room since we missed our dining time and guess what we were turned around literally they told us we could not be seated and the dining room was nearly empty. Wow Carnival we stop cruising with Royal 5 years ago and sailed with Carnival for 4 years straight and this is the way that we were treated. I will never sail with Carnival again.
Sincerely,
Mia Scott

Sounds like a bit of an over overreaction. They changed the linens for you, the head of housekeeping came by to check on things. What more did you want. I worked in hotels many years, and it happens. You make it sound as though your sheets were as bloodied as crime scene, when in reality it was probably just two pinhole sized spots (as from my hotel experience it probably was). The room stewards, like housekeepers in hotels, have close to 2 dozen rooms to clean in just a few hours. They probably did not notice the stains when they changed them earlier. Blood stains are hard to get out, and they slipped unnoticed which is why I say you overreacted. If they were as bloodied as you make them out to be, they would have noticed. I agree it's not something you want to see, but it happens, they changed them, apologized and that's that. Maybe you should just stay home.
As far as the dining rooms go, as others said they are on a set schedule. You miss your time you go to the lido deck buffet or order room service. It's not as if they left you stranded out in the ocean without any food at all.
You went into the cruise with a chip on your shoulder already because of the itinerary change. Itineraries are NOT guaranteed. I'm going on Paradise in 11 days and our itinerary was changed too from Key West to Costa Maya. Yes, I was upset for that, but still look forward to the cruise. Been to Key West many times , never to Costa Maya, so it'll be a whole new experience.
The reasons you hated your cruise are your fault not the cruise line. They fixed the issue with the sheets as best they could. You missed the dining time, also your fault. Can't blame the cruise line for that either. You should have followed your husbands lead and had a good time.
