Review summary

Went on this cruise on April 1 with just my husband. Teenagers broke all the elevator buttons in the elevators. Food was ok, nothing great. They changed the ports about a month before the cruise to go to Costa Maya instead of Cayman Islands which is why I picked this in the first place.) I thought a month out would give them enough time to fix the problem with the ship to make it go slow, but I was wrong. Crew was nice but not like they have been on previous Carnival cruises. They had to ration out the bacon in the mornings since the kids were all unsupervised. Next time I will splurge and go on the bigger ships so we have more fun stuff to do.

Don't go on Spring Break months unless you want rude teenagers/college kids running in and out of rooms being gross.

i was on that ship in nov food was good in the main dinning room its a older ship not alot of good show but it was only a 5day cruise was with friends with a wedding party . we had fun plus in cozmel we went to mr. sanchos resort was a blast for 55.00 all drinks and food u can eat that a deal

sorry that happened. I read all the time of grand Carmen being cancelled because it's too rough to tender. if that was the reason at least they offered you both ability to stay on the boat or goto Costa maya...if they still went to GG you wouldn't have had that choice
