Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food we had was of good to excellent quality.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Variety was good.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Overall, the staff quality was very good, but the person who we contacted about the room we all had to share was not helpful at all, even when we offered to pay for another stateroom. This is not an example of going above and beyond.

Ship Quality

Layout could be explained better. The condition of public areas was good. The decor was nice. Getting to the gym was a little confusing.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
We were told when we booked our cruise that 3 adults was the maximum per stateroom. You can imagine our shock and dissappointment when our whole family (2 parents, 3 grown children) was assigned to the same room. This definitely took some of the "Fun" out of our Funship experience. Our room also had leaflets & Cruise notes left in it from the previous cruise. The room was in good shape otherwise, and would have been fine for 2 to 3 adults.

Ports of call

Ensenada, Mexico

5 out of 5
Don't Miss: Bufadora Blow Hole by kayak

Catalina Island, California

5 out of 5
Don't Miss: The inland tour

Pros: Spending time with my family and being away from work

Cons: Having 5 Adults in 1 Stateroom
