Love the Panorama by Michael4g94

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

Not a fan of the more generic style of newer Carnival ships but otherwise loved the Panorama. Sky Ride was a lot of fun and incredible view. Carnival staff though are what really made this trip memorable.

First time in Carnival by AKdreamer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

This was our first Carnival cruise and overall it was wonderful and we would love to do carnival again. However, we won’t be cruising with them until they drop the mask mandate for the ships. We are vaccinated and tested before the cruise so I’m unsure why we were required to wear the mask the entire time you were inside. Even in the comedy club you had to “sip and cover”. It was hot and uncomfortable and so we will only be cruising with lines that have a less strict mask policy. Other than that we loved Carnival and will look forward to getting to sail with her again.

Excellent!! AWESOME SHIP by jvazquez9517

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Coming out the pandemic this was much needed. Carnival did everything right to make our Vacation memorable just as my prior years. Even with all the restrictions and protocols.

Not doing another cruise by denverblee

I really enjoyed cruises. With COVID mitigation in effect the experience was not good. I am not sure if I will ever do another cruise.

Carnival Panorama Oct. 2nd 2021 by SweetMelanie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama

We had an excellent time. After not being on a ship for a couple years and having 4 canceled we really needed this. Every crewmember was so happy to see you. Lee the cruise director is an amazing cruise director and He always make sure that everyone is having a good time. We really enjoyed the 80s night and the silent disco that was new for us. As far as the white night the only thing I saw about that was it was in the club starting at 11 o’clock and we had a teenager so we missed that. For us this cruise was more about being on the ship then doing excursions we had nothing planned I was not really disappointed by that. During our cruise we were selling at 70% capacity and it really made a difference we never had to wait to get drinks, we never had to wait to get seated once we checked in on our phones for dining. And it just didn’t seem overwhelming. We did not use the pools at all, we save that for home. Oh we also used the spa my daughter and I got our hair done she got hers curled I got mine straightened. Starting price online was $59 but we both ended up paying over $100 each. She has long hair so I understand that but mine is just below my shoulders so I thought that was a little expensive but they did a good job so it was worth it.

Back to Fun by sweeti

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

We had the unique experience of cruising during a pandemic. The additional stress in planning was worth it. We got to enjoy a neatly new ship at about 50% capacity. Rode the skyride 5 times in a row. Little to no wait for almost everything plus no chair hogs! Lee was a great cruise director as well.

Contracted food poisoning on ship, taken to hospital & left in Mexico, now Carnival is ignoring us by srmknight

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

We are long time Carnival veterans and sailed on the Panorama out of Long Beach on 8/21, first cruise in almost two years! The first three days where very good (the food was subpar overall except for Guy's) as we splurged for all the bells and whistles, even booking a Havana suit. Then everything came crashing down on 8/24 during our Chefs table dinner. My wife became increasingly Ill and eventually was evacuated off the ship in Puerto Vallarta the next day with a medical emergency that the onboard doctor was unable to treat (after misdiagnosing her with pancreatitis, which records show they didn't even test for and trying to blame alcohol). Turns out my wife had two bacterial infections both likely brought on by the e-coli bacteria. In the hospital opinion, in all likely hood she acquired this infection on board on the first days sailing based on when symptoms materialized which means she got food poisoning on the ship that landed her in the hospital. Carnival left us in Mexico after she was taken to the Hospital and we were now on our own. She was treated for two days and we began the journey home via multiple unplanned flights with two antibiotics and all of her records. Since then Carnival has ignored all of our attempts at communications, even a promise from John Heald that someone would reach out was apparently untrue as it has been more than a week since he made that promise on Facebook. We are feeling very abandoned by Carnival who we have been extremely loyal to for more than 20 years and are at a loss as we need some help from them to file insurance claims. We LOVE cruising and Carnival was our home. We have so many wonderful Carnival memories of cruising with our moms, our kids but this was our last Carnival cruise I do not see how we can go back to them after all of this. They called us part of the Carnival family, we are not feeling much like family now.

This was a really good cruise. I’m from Florida so taking a cruise on the other side to experience ports Ive never been to was amazing. The ship was really nice, the food was normal cruise food nothing spectacular, the service was amazing. I had the best Waiter and steward on the ship. Would definitely put this in my again cruise list
