Horrible trip by rosesaenz71

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

This was my first cruise and probably my last. I booked through this site only because of the options of boarding credit or a gift card or cash. I never received anything regarding how to redeem my options until a week before my cruise and by then it was too late i was told the was nothing they could do. Never again will I use this site.

Amazing first family holiday cruise! by q17293387

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

It was an amazing experience. With a large group, a cruise lets everyone do their thing but yet still be a unit. Would definitely do it again. If you have a kid, it may be more difficult to do the evening activities.

Ok cruise by mbrownbatiste

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

I expected a little more for Carnival as it was a new cruise. Seems as if the ship was just refurbished.

Panorama layout was not appealing by vhguerrerotax

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Although Panorama is a new ship?, we were not impressed. Ship layout was not appealing. Food with the exception of the Steakhouse was not appealing.

Carnival not for me by ceceliaraquel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

For such an experienced cruiseline I was disappointed in the disorganization and frenetic chaos everywhere you turned. It’s as if they had never had a ship in the water before. The food was not fresh and prepared according to menu descriptions. The staff appeared to not know what they were serving. The finishes on ship were tacky and the plants were fake.

Ship Too Small for Amount of People - Cigarette Smoke Ridiculous to Deal w/in 2023! by Peakcelln

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Exposure to cigarette smoke is unforgivable Carnival, after all we know about it's dangers in 2023. Ship is way too small for this many people, along with pools, hot tubs, Heroes(sports bar), Atrium, buffet, and every show. Expect to wait on line for everything. I seriously would not go on this ship again if they offered it for free.

Great Time Had on the Panorama by masfam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Great trip, enjoyed the Mexican Riviera and the Panorama. We will probably return to the Caribbean for the next few cruises as it is closer for us but will visit the Riviera again.

1st cruise for me since 2019 by traybag1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama

I was just happy to be cruising again after 2 years of not cruising. I masked up when I could, didn't do the crowded Lido deck activities, sanitized my cabin and hands every chance I got. I also bought my own covid test just in case. I heard rumblings of people being sick mid cruise. my son actually started feeling sick our last day on the ship. He is sick as I type this days later. but alot of people in our area are sick with flu or covid. Panorama is just like the Horizon if you ask me. Spacious and newer. I enjoy cruising and love Carnival.

Some Hits & Some Misses... by melrodgers85

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama

This cruise had some hits and some misses. I liked the design and updated look of the Panorama but it felt smaller than I was expecting for a newer ship. The ports of call were all amazing but tendering in to Cabo took until NOON so be sure to get a tender ticket ASAP when they become available or you risk being stuck on board for half the port day. The food was all very tasty but there is definitely less of it and getting it is slow or sometimes not available at all so plan ahead. Slides and SkyRide are fun but lines can be prohibitive and wind often closed both these things during our trip. Shows were good but we often couldn't get a seat even if we were early. Everything was still very fun and we loved it but be prepared for some of the pitfalls that surprised us.

Great service and activities but very disappointing food. Truly awful much of the time or merely meh, and we're not picky. by HolyHeffer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Embarkation madness and poor food quality were almost enough to get us to not cruise with Carnival again. The staff were wonderful as always, as were the entertainment and activities. Considering cancelling our March cruise and waiting a few years before trying Carnival again.

Top notch for our second cruise on this ship by Sparklyandcute

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama

This was our second trip on the Panorama. The ship is spacious and top notch. Lots of activities. Food was great. We had an aft balcony in the family harbor with our own private area for snacks and drinks.

Wonderful Time by ShawnANDCarlos

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Overall an amazing time! Wish there were more signs with info for people that haven’t sailed. Leaving for ports was difficult due to staff yelling due to volume.
