Review summary

For such an experienced cruiseline I was disappointed in the disorganization and frenetic chaos everywhere you turned. It’s as if they had never had a ship in the water before. The food was not fresh and prepared according to menu descriptions. The staff appeared to not know what they were serving. The finishes on ship were tacky and the plants were fake.

Maybe you shouldn't cruise on a new ship with new crew members! It takes time to learn and grow,

When my great-great-great-great grandfather Ragnar The Berserk boarded one of their ships for a cruise he was handed an oar as he embarked on the ship. He had to poop in a bucket, eat dry biscuits, sit next to a passenger who hadn't had his by-yearly wash yet. His shower consisted of cold rain, and he slept on the floor. Did he ever complain? Never! The entertainment was listening to the beat of a drum telling him when to take a stroke with his personal oar he was give. He still didn't complain. There was no toilet paper and he did bring that up however, and was promptly thrown overboard dragged behind the boat till the room purser felt his bottom was duly cleaned. Still he did not complain! Oh, how far we have come. Now we're worried about tacky walls...

Always give a New Ship a few months get their oars in the water! I'm sure some of the staff where newbies and some were experienced staffer's from other ships! All trying together to get the game plan up and running!

By tacky, I think the cruiser meant "tacky," as in trashy, nasty, of poor quality. Believe me, the walls and woodwork were completely dry long before the ship set sail. Some people can be served on a gold plate and would complain because it was not polished enough.

Maybe you need a all inclusive on land

We are wanting to cruise on a newer ship. Hope our experience will be better.

If you were truly on this ship on that day, then you know it is a BRAND NEW ship. That would be the first 7 day cruise. It takes a few cruises to get the bugs out. Yes, I bet some of the walls were tacky. Being freshly made and on the sea it takes longer to dry completely. Next time dont cruise on a new ship

I guess Carnival is not for you. Your profile shows no other cruises, so what are you comparing your experience to? Sorry you had such a terrible time. You sound like a perfectionist who looks for faults with very high expectations.

Wow the plants was fake, well I guess I better cancel my cruise for July on the Panorama. Come on people did you enjoy the time spent with your love ones and remember you're on vacation live a little complain less.
